VP of Channel Sales

Strategic partnerships and channel sales are fundamental to this client's growth strategy for the Invoice-to-Cash Applications space.  Collaborating closely with the Chief Sales Officer and SVP Partnerships, the new VP of Channel Sales will build out the channel sales engine and lead a strategy for accelerated customer acquisition via partnerships. The VP of Channel Sales will work directly with the new global strategic technology partners to sign new enterprise clients while supporting the build-out of new SI, VAR, and ISV channels. Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer, the VP of Channel Sales will also build and lead a team of channel sales directors.

 

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate closely with the Partnerships team and the strategic technology partners to drive new customer acquisition and revenue

  • Support development of the partnerships strategy and signings of new channel partners, including SIs, VARs, and ISVs

  • Partner closely with global sales leadership to develop channel sales processes, prospecting strategy, and channel conflict principles

  • Collaborate with the Partnerships product team to develop new offerings and tools to support our channel partners

  • Build out your team of Channel Sales Directors

  • Oversee and manage pipeline development, management, and forecasting for each region

  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure performance and quotas

  • Work cross-functionally with direct sales, sales operations, and marketing organizations to socialize the value proposition of our partnerships and implement a joint partner strategy

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B enterprise channel sales and/or alliances

  • 7+ years experience in both sales and financial services in a leadership or player/coach capacity

  • Experience and understanding of the FinTech/SaaS space and sales cycles

  • Experience building and managing a high-performing sales team

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Experience creating sales tools and processes to support prospecting, discovery, competitive positioning, solution mapping, deal structuring, and negotiation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling financial instruments and/or working capital solutions

  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement ability

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze and understand corporate financial reporting.
