This growth means adding a desktop support person to maintain and monitor the firm's infrastructure computer systems and networks. This role is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with the company and move up the ladder into infrastructure support or programmer & developer. Locations Overland Park and Shawnee. 

 

IT Support Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install and configure software and computer systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.

  • Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.

  • Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.

  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.

 

IT Support Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience providing end-user or desktop support.

  • Certifications are preferred but not required.

  • You will have working knowledge and expertise with various software, hardware, and applications.

  • You are eager to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.

  • You have strong analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.

  • You are team-oriented and enjoy helping your colleagues solve technical problems.

  • You have strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
