Accounts Payables Clerk

They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable and be proficient in 10-key entry skills. The successful candidate will ensure that all invoices are paid accurately and on time, keeping correct records of all financial transactions and reconciling accounts payable transactions. Responsibilities:

Process invoices and reconcile vendor statements promptly and correctly.

Verify the accuracy of invoices and coding and ensure approval.

Ensure prompt and correct payments are made to vendors.

Resolve any discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

Help in month-end closing, including reconciling accounts payable transactions.

Maintain correct and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, with 2 to 4 years of experience

Excellent 10-key entry skills.

Ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

High school diploma or equivalent, with some college-level accounting coursework, preferred.
